Resources for the Journey
As we’re on this grand journey becoming who God made us to be together, it’s important that we pack tools for the journey.
On a road trip, we’d make sure to pack the best road trip snacks and drinks (Sun Chips, Oreos, sour gummy worms, coffee and sweet tea, right?!), a playlist filled with our favorite tunes to sing along to, sun glasses, a map or GPS system, and we would definitely make sure to fill our car up with gasoline before we hit the road.
If we take the time to pack road trip essentials for an awesome road trip, what are we intentionally packing for our becoming journey? We only have one life—this isn’t a dress rehearsal and we don’t get a do-over. Our past doesn’t define us—we learn from every curve and bend in the road and continue on the journey becoming who God made us to be. From where we are today, right now, we can intentionally pack tools and resources on our journey that will help us grow so that we’re always blooming, always becoming.
Below you’ll find several resources to get you started! Here you’ll find links to devotionals, blogs, communities, books, and tools that are incredible resources to tap into, learn and grow from, and that will encourage, empower and equip you on your becoming journey. You may have other resources that you love that aren’t listed here and that’s awesome! Share some of your favorites in the comments below! We’re in this together…we are becoming. What road trip essentials will you pack for the journey today?
