The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it.

We are “thrill-seekers”. We love the flashy lights and glittery costumes. We want to be entertained. We seek success, fortune, fame, and popularity, but all too often miss our real treasure in life–Jesus! When we finally decide to make Jesus our #1 priority, all of the other “stuff” just won’t seem as important.
As we focus on Thanksgiving today, show God just how thankful you are for what He has been doing in your life.
