If it seems slow in coming, wait.
Wait… WHAT? When it’s slow in coming, wait some more? Not ‘hurry up & figure it out’?
God’s Word is reminding me to WAIT in the SLOW seasons. To not rush forward when the answers & miracles seem slow in coming. This goes against my natural tendencies… I’m a “get-it-done” kinda gal, crushing to-do lists & working with speed. But God doesn’t always answer quickly. And I’m learning that His slow answer is a gift.
It’s in the WAIT, I receive His gift of…
– The unexpected… the things & people & moments & lessons I never knew I needed.
– Gratitude for all He has blessed me with.
– Time soaking in His love & grace.
– Space to learn more about who He designed me to be.
– His absolute BEST for me & for His glory.
Waiting isn’t always fun. I often want to rush ahead & just get the answer already. But tonight, I’m smiling. I’m standing in the meantime… the space in the slow, unanswered season… & I’m reminded of God’s goodness, & to mark it in clear, big letters to remind me tomorrow & the next day & the next that SLOW isn’t bad. SLOW is His gift. And I can WAIT here, in the slow, because He has promised the answer is coming in His perfect, best timing. Thank you, Jesus! ??
