Last night was our first Mother/Daughter Bible Study for Hope Girlz! We launched a four-week study focusing on bringing moms and daughters not only closer to each other, but also closer to Jesus Christ. Last night’s focus was “Me and God.” While my Mom talked with the others Moms, us girls had a great discussion on what a real, vibrant relationship with Jesus looks like. We are learning that a relationship with Christ isn’t about everything that we can do for God, but it is all about how we love Jesus with everything in us. We asked ourselves if we loved Jesus for what He does for us or if we loved Him simply for who He is. That’s a tough question to wrestle with, but every day is a new day to walk with Him and fall crazy in love with Jesus. Enjoy the pictures…….next week is all about “My Relationships with Others!”
