This video from Jefferson Bethke went viral several months ago. Some viewed it as the greatest thing since sliced bread, while others lost sleep over their disdain for Jefferson’s words.
However, for me, it pumped fresh air into my lungs.
If you read my last post, “religion tried to ruin my life,” you understand what I mean. This video brought into life the very thoughts that have tumbled around in my head for a long time.
Religion is about doing. Jesus is about being. I’m learning to embrace the freedom to be, and not do, do, do.
